Where the Journey Began
The story of Equinoxe begins in the late seventies, when Corrado Di Majo and Alessandro Ussi were spending much of their lives at sea: racing, sailing and exploring new horizons.
When they met in the early eighties, it quickly became clear they shared the same vision: a way of living the sea that was both adventurous and deeply personal. From that meeting, Equinoxe was founded in 1986, turning a shared passion into a company dedicated to guiding others through the world of yachting.
What started with regattas and long days on the water gradually grew into something more and became a journey built on experience, trusted relationships and a lifelong connection to the sea.

The creation of Sanlorenzo Charter Fleet marks the meeting point between two complementary visions of the yachting world: the strategic perspective of Sanlorenzo, one of the most respected yacht builders globally, and the operational expertise of Equinoxe, with decades of experience in charter and brokerage. This synergy led to the development of the world’s first monobrand charter fleet, designed to offer owners and clients a highly specialised service built on quality, technical management and personalised consultancy.
