Freemont’s story makes her both unique and compelling. She is a classic yacht that – very unusually – also offers all the amenities of a modern craft. The fact that she brims with contemporary technologies means she will easily make the wish list of even the most expert and judicious modern owner.
Alex Mazzoni, selling broker
Equinoxe Yachts International is pleased to announce that Benetti Classic FREEMONT has been sold, with EYI Senior broker Alex Mazzoni representing the seller and Lars Bjorklund of Ocean Independence representing the buyer.
Benetti Classic Freemont sold will catch the eye of anyone with an appreciation for sublime classic yacht design. Stretching 115’ in length, she was built in 1983 by Benetti, one of Italy’s most enduring and illustrious luxury superyacht yards. In signature Benetti style, she effortlessly melds the highest technical standards with stylish elegance and a high-end spec. In fact, her Manfredi Studio-penned interiors are the perfect balance of elegance and functionality.
Freemont is in superbly pristine condition as she was fully refitted in 2013 and has been lovingly maintained in the interim by owner.
Boasting very generous interior and deck spaces, she can accommodate 10 guests in five beautifully-appointed cabins as well as seven crew in bow berths. The master suite on the main deck comprises not one but two en suite cabins: the first is full-beam with a queen-size bed, while the second has two double beds. The owner’s cabin includes a flat screen TV with satellite reception and all the comforts required for a relaxing time aboard. Freemont also has a further three en suite cabins on her lower deck: a full-beam VIP with a king-size bed and two doubles. The crew area is located forward. The interior layout has been carefully crafted to guarantee absolute guest privacy. Freemont’s wonderfully expansive outdoor areas are spread over three decks and, of course, include ample areas where guests can relax and enjoy their time at sea. The aft section of the main deck in particular is ideal for receptions and al fresco dining.
Freemont’s twin CAT 425 engines were overhauled to zero hours in 2013 to ensure this divine 35m Benetti Classic cruises happily at 11 knots. A sense of sublime onboard comfort is guaranteed by her Zero Speed system and stabilisers which ensure absolute stability and reduced roll at anchor and underway.
Freemont is not only MCA Class compliant but has also been awarded Bureau Veritas Unrestricted Navigation certification.
