Tavolara

A majestic limestone and granite massif towering 560 metres above sea level, Tavolara is a 4-kilometre long island with high jagged cliffs. Tavolara Bay is around 8 miles from Olbia. Crystalline waters and a sandy sea floor make it heaven for divers – the array of flora and fauna is astonishing with shoals of fish darting here and there completely undisturbed. Truly unforgettable.
The island is also the world’s smallest kingdom – the locals will be only too delighted to tell you the story of the King of Tavolara!
